Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in the world has been in the news a lot lately. The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao has been going around the world meeting prominent leaders to expand the use of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.

Changpeng Zhao met the representatives of the Government of Bermuda including Premier David Burt, Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon. E. David Burt, JP, MP regarding the implementation of Digital Assets including cryptocurrency in Bermuda.

Bermuda’s Premier and Minister of Finance, David Burt took to Twitter to announce Bermuda’s move on cryptocurrency which says:

“Welcomed Binance CEO CZ & Co-Founder @heyibinance to the Bermuda Cabinet Office to share the steps Bermuda is taking to become the jurisdiction of choice for the world of Digital Asstes includingcryptocurrency.”

To which CZ replies:

“Honoured sir! Amazed at how advanced Bermuda is in welcoming the blockchain industry! Strong leaders makes all the difference in the world.”

When asked why he only targets small countries and travels so much, CZ stated that he met with three Head of states in the past 8 days. He believes that blockchain is for everyone and when one is doing something meaningful, the body is aware of it.

It's great that they're meeting with countries to share information. It's an important part of the crypto process that I hope all the major companies are doing to further the industry.
