Introduction of new BirdPerson community with a contest! [15 STEEM Prize Pool]
Last time I told myself that I should stop just taking and try to give something to the community. So it's time to start my first competition, which won't be for everyone. It is for bird lovers!
As a little girl, I really wanted a parrot, and I fulfilled this dream about a year and a half ago when I bought Pipiczech. Small Agapornis Fischeri. Lovebirds are social creatures, and so, because we had to go to work and couldn't spend time with him at 100%, I bought him a friend, who eventually turned out to be Pipiczech's girlfriend, Agi. Their co-existence brought first fruits. Well, not fruits but the eggs. We are not breeders, and we live in an apartment that is not ideal for nesting, so nothing hatched out, but it was beautiful to see the little cute white eggs.
Birds (not just parrots) are the most amazing and funniest creatures for me, and I would like to see more of them on Steemit. There are already some tags, but they are mostly overwhelmed with shitposts, and the pet (or pets) tag contains just cats and dogs. Does everybody really adore only cats and dogs? What about other pets?
I already have enough posts about them, so I decided to create a new tag, where you will be able to meet all bird lovers and share with them your stories, experiences, and advice. So let's create the largest bird community in Steemit together! :)
The new tag will be called #birdperson, and as a motivation, I decided to organize a contest.
It'll be a writing contest, and your task is to introduce yourself as a BirdPerson and to introduce your bird friend (or breeding, or anything that is related to birds).
I would love to know who I can look forward to!
The prize pool is 15 STEEM and it'll be divided as:
🥇 1st place 6 STEEM
🥈 2nd place 4 STEEM
🥉 3rd place 2 STEEM
🥔 and 1 STEEM for the next three best articles
What conditions you have to meet to participate in this competition?
- Upvote this post.
- Resteem this post (to let know about the contest and community as much bird lovers as possible).
- Write an article where you introduce yourself as a BirdPerson and your bird friend (or breeding, or anything that is related to birds). Use your imagination, whatever form is welcome.
- The title of the article must be "New BirdPerson incoming: 'your title' " (e.g., New BirdPerson incoming: Me and my little birdies Pipiczech and Agi). It will help me identify all competing articles from others.
- Use the #birdperson tag.
- Only one post per user (If you have more birds introduce them in one post).
- Original content only!
- English or bilingual posts only!
These rules are mandatory! If you fail to complete one of these, you won't be able to participate in the competition!
I will also appreciate mentioning this contest in your post and following me, but it is up to you. Rules mentioned above are enough to participate.

I really want to participate in this contest, but I do not have a good camera, I only have a camera smartphone! Can I come participate!
I don't mind. It is not a contest in photography, so don't be afraid to include pictures from your smartphone even when they are not perfect. I would love to see your bird! :)
