Birdwatching: American Bushtit

We spotted a flock of these tiny birds on our willow tree.

They are the smallest type we have seen on the homestead to date!

I use google lens to help identify species whenever I capture an image on my phone.

They are very gregarious and flitter about, looking for insects and spiders to eat.
