Oh wow, I would love to see a picture if you have any. Do you know what kind of hawks they are?
I'm not sure, I think they are red-shouldered hawks. The tree that they nest in is huge and they are at the very top. If I tried to get a pic, it would look like your vulture one unless I got lucky and caught them perched on my fence.
