40...
There's a lot to be grateful for. There's a lot of stupid shit I've done. Either way, time doesn't seem to care. Today I turned 40.
Nice wins include
staying together with the same person since 9/9/99.
a PhD in chemistry
3 kids
world travels
A fair amount of financial security
Steem
PAL
Splinterlands and Steem-Engine
A small circle of amazing people in my life
Big losses include
deceased friends and family
missed connections with friends
a business failure (10 years ago)
long term exposure to ethanol
I've found that integrating new information regarding how I believe the world actually works has changed my perception of how to make this place better and has simultaneously created distance between me and friends and family who don't share the same belief/understanding. That part has been tumultuous.
I have certainly lead an interesting life. Now to reflect on that and see how to improve on it.

Happy Birthday! ...!BEER Party
Happy Birthday @aggroed! Birthday's are a great time to reflect. It sounds like you've accomplished a lot. 40 was a big one for me, a turning point. My perspective on just about everything shifted. I hope you enjoy your day!
Congratulations!
Regarding the world view thing, I can say the same. Embracing the decentralization movement has practically cost me one 30 year friendship. But what can you do if your views change and those of others do not.
