About a Traveling Birthday on Christmas

in #birthday22 hours ago

Greetings, internet travelers!

Today, I am the real-life traveler: we're flying to Canada soon. It's not only my first time going there, but it's my first time traveling on Christmas Day. If that was not enough, almost exactly twenty-seven years ago, on the night of the 25th of December of 1997, a baby was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil. And I was named Arthur. So it's also my first time traveling on my Birth Day.

We've now been through every burocratic step but the embark itself. I started writing on our way to the airport and now, some hours later, I'll probably have a lot more waiting times that'll allow me to write along this trip, and maybe also to create the posts I wanted to for the past few days and weeks but that the final hurdles of the year did not let me do before.

My plan is to keep a travel diary here, along with some of my photographies in this adventure. I also want to use this space more as my personal blog and data/information journal, and I hope that because it's almost my birthday, you'll support me in these new endeavors.

We're spending twenty days in the Maple Leaf lands, and I feel a profound feeling of gratitude to be able to be in this travel alongside my dear parents and brother. But as I've written more than once about, Life is Full of Twists and Dichotomies: the strong feeling of Saudades is already within me. I'll miss my dear feline children, my wonderful familiars, my unique friends and my incredible partner Isabelitas; I've been so lucky to have lived so many important moments alongside you all in this cycle. The photo that stamps this post's header is a capture done by ma friend Nahtan, and it's a result of a collective mindfulness moment we had together, and that I feel like transmits a lot of what I believe life's about!

Happy holidays for all of you, wish us a good trip :)
