IN THE BEGINNING – BIRTHDAY REFLECTIONS

In the beginning… actually, before the beginning He knew me (Jer. 1:5), for I was in His loins before the creation (Eph. 1:4). I dwelt in His immortal presence until He decided on the 8th of September in that peculiar season to bring me forth. He formed me in my mother’s womb and before I could announce my entrance into this world, He called me by my name Ezeson, Uzoma Lucy, and ordained me a royal priesthood, peculiar and unique.

I must confess that God has been so good to me from time immemorial (even before the foundations of this world was laid). I am grateful to Him for everything He has brought me through. Every experience was to teach, groom and shape me till I became a perfect reflection of His glory. Every pain to teach me to be strong. Every tear to teach me gratitude in everything. Every hate to teach me to love. Every failure to prepare me for success. Every mistake to unleash my ingenuity.

I am grateful for the wonderful family He gave me – you are the best Mum, I appreciate you Big Bros – and also for the spiritual family He brought me into – COR, CU. I am also grateful for everyone He has brought my way in my continuous walk with Him.
