Twenty-Six Sites Other Than YouTube! Upload Your Videos!

Youtubers removed from Youtube. What can they do?

Free-speech which has been a deep part of it even from ancient Roman times. While Youtube has been fighting free speech. Steem and Hive sites have been embedding Youtube videos into posts automatically while not allowing people tp post embedding codes from other sites. Fortunately, developers of Steemit/Condener have Vimeo and D-Tube embedding and the SteemPeak/PeakD developers enabled Vimeo, D-Tube and 3Speak. I would argue these sites should drop Youtube embedding for posts after the date of the InfoWars purge from Youtube but add embedding for some other sites including InfoWars.

Companies including Youtube would have never been possible without seed money from government agencies. There it is, you pay taxes, the tax money is later used against you in censoring you.

I hate to sound like one who blames the victim but it is the users of Youtube and the publishers that have made Youtube such a success that they can afford to mistreat their content creators like this. It should be the goal of everyone who dislikes political censorship to up-end Youtube. Creators of content should self-host their videos. And use several video sites and use cryptocurrencies for funding to avoid a single point of failure or censorship.

As mentioned earlier, Alex Jones was on Youtube but also was and is self-hosting his content on InfoWars. His videos are still available there. This guy not only removed from YouTube but had his Facebook account, and his Google account deleted. Youtube also deleted Mike Adams' channel from Youtube, but he has his own site. Then there is Big John M.G.T.O.W. the same case. Also now Dan Dicks (the press-for-truth), The 22-Report, the SGT-Report, and World Alternative Media. These are just a few examples of accounts that have been censored.

Here is a table, that allows you to upload Videos. I believe some of them are manually curated and may have some process to go through before uploading a video to it.

Please note: when "Interface Language" reads "English", it may be multilingual. The language you will actually see could depend on your browser configuration. Mine prefers English. I didn't test these sites with different language preferences setup in my browser.

Sites you may be able to upload to follow. There are 26 in this list but you might not be able to upload to them all:

Ted and Vimeo tend to be censored as well according to @ura-soul, but it's may be worth a try.

These sites use Youtube to store their videos, so a video that is removed and banned from Youtube will not appear on these sites.

Probably the most interesting are Brightreon BitChute, D Tube, and 3Speak.

I got the best performance out of Brightreon and The Daily Motion. D Tube uses multiple blockchains for user accounts, but has a proprietary blockchain for rewards are obtained. The site 3 speak uses the Hive blockchain, this chain has several sites going for it already (hive.blog) and (peakd.com). Now, Bitchute videos are slow. I found the videos would pause even when I put the video I was watching at half speed. I know this is not a problem when connecting with fiber, however.

The newest entry is banned.video. I think you need to have some kind of following first.

Now for Flote seems to be a streaming only platform. I see no option for uploading.
