Captain Drakins Explains Hashing

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

The new episode of our animated show Captain Drakins is about a very important thing for Bitcoin: hashing. A hash is a cryptographic function which is used to encrypt blocks of transactions.

This was probably one of the most challenging topics we had to explain in our series so far. You may wonder: How can you make an animated film about a cryptographic algorithm?

See for yourself if it works. Do you understand how hashing works and why it is important for Bitcoin after having watched this episode?

For the time being, this is the last episode of our animated series. The contract with our sponsor has expired. If you are interested in sponsoring this show, please contact us

We would love to create an episode about Steem!

Here you find all the episodes that we made so far:

Episode 1: Selling Products for Bitcoin

Episode 2: Offering Services for Bitcoin

Episode 3: Changing Bitcoin into Conventional Money

Episode 4: Travelling with Bitcoin

Episode 5: Public and Private Key

Episode 6: How Does Mining Work?

Episode 7: What is a Blockchain?

Episode 8: Using a Wallet

Episode 9: Storing Bitcoins Safely

Episode 10: Altcoins / Dash
