Well, it's not just Bitcoin, it's the entire cryptocurrency market. The recent post from the US senate regarding regulations of cryptocurrency spooked people into selling, then people's stop-losses were triggered and other people were scared of a free-falling market and sold out too. The market is currently stabilizing and I believe we will see most coins going back to their pre-drop value over the next few weeks.
