Difference between STEEM and BITCOIN

STEEM and Bitcoin are both cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin started at a price of $0.008 per bitcoin back then 2010. Within 5 days the price went up 100 percent and today it is $2600 per bitcoin. In the case of STEEM it was launched March 2016, and today the price is over $1. Bitcoin can be mined with hardware, while STEEM is minned through writing. STEEM has a market cap of $287,351,451 with a volume of 589,240 while Bitcoin has a $43.82 billion with volume of $ 227,950,000. Bitcoin is generally traded with most online stores accepting it as a means of transaction but STEEM has a limited trading platform. There is less reward and competition in STEEM because it is a still a youthful platform. Bitcoin started very easy but with more people getting on board it became more difficult to mine. STEEM rewards members with STEEM power, STEEM dollars, and STEEM. Steem power is for voting articles.
