In Taipei decided to significantly raise their level of fintech and will work on the basis of Blockchain IOTA. Taiwan's capital unites with the IOTA non-profit foundation in Berlin using Tangle technology based on IoT technology and also launches Blockchain BiiLabs, which allows implementing the idea of an intelligent city, which, according to one of the founders of IOTA, Dominique Shiner, will avoid fraud with voters.

Mayor of Taipei Ko Wen-de recently went to Warsaw on a trip, with the mission to study the idea of smart cities, and this partnership with IOTA indicates his commitment to technology.

Blockchain IOTA technology is unique in that it uses its own protocol, called Tangle, which is known for having no blocks and no miners. Tangle is used in the first application of the IOTA / Tapei project and is known for Internet of Things (IOT) applications, ranging from smart clocks to "charging a microchip-powered electric car."

Partners are studying how IOTA technology can be integrated into an intelligent city to ensure data integrity and trust in public service and beyond. Taipei City joins the participants like Microsoft, who turned to the IOTA data market (although IOTA stressed that Microsoft's relations are not a partnership.) IOTA says that the market is testing the IOTA protocol and demonstrates how "business models based on micropayments" will function in the future.

On partnership with Taipei, founder of the IOTA Foundation David Sonestebo said:

"This proves that our next-generation technology is ready for practical applications in real conditions and is not just a theory. We are just beginning to explore the surface effect that IOTA can do to make the IoT world even more connected and to pave the way not only for smart cities, but for the smart world. "

Tangle Tech
The first project to test the city of Taipei is individual maps of the map equipped with TangleID, designed to store individual and medical data of local residents to protect this data from fraudulent voters. Other areas are considered, including health care and the exchange of data between cities.

Another project is Airbox, which controls the air quality of local residents. It is already used in homes and in 150 primary schools in Taipei City. The device "collects and transmits air quality data to the Internet" and it integrates into Tangle technology. With Tangle Airbox, it is planned to "integrate an incentive payment into IOTA", possibly as a reward for maintaining a low level of carbon dioxide emissions.

Another smart city focused on Blockchain is Dubai, which is reportedly preparing to release nearly two dozen Blockchain applications, which are currently in experimental form in various agencies, from infrastructure to education, healthcare. Dubai is already using blockchain technology for land registries.

IOTA coin
Recall that the IOTA rating of crypto-currency is periodically in the TOP-10 list, and the current market capitalization exceeds 5 billion dollars. In the past year, IOTA's crypto currency in June, after entering the market on the exchange, Bitfinex grew by more than 460%.
