Very good :)

BCC is short for Bitconnect Coin. You should write BCH instead.

I write bcash, but that's not what changelly uses.

nice response :D tip! noad

Annoying isn't it. It should have been nipped in the bud as soon as they asked for BCC.

I think you will be successful in the future! good luck!

Hi @ash, I might be late to say but I like the website design. I am going to look into more later. :)

I get "Amount is too small. Minimum allowed is Infinity BCC. Please send a higher amount, otherwise you may lose your funds." when trying to exchange 1 BCH/BCC for BTCat the moment. They might be struggling with request.

yep, pretty sure everyone is trying to unload. managed to sell my hot wallet bcash at least :)

What do you mean by hot wallet brash? Did you have the a full node synced and ready? I'm currently downloading the bitcoin classic chain and it's taking forever. Any suggestions on a quicker way? I don't trust Electrum Cash.

Electron cash, on a second machine.
and you have to move your bitcoin to a new electrum seed first. that's how I did it

The stuff I read about the developer who compiled that and chose to remain anonymous concerns me. I don't have Electrum installed, just clean private keys from paper wallets. By "clean" I mean I've already moved the BTC off them, but they should have BCC there.

Maybe I'll try this today, but I'm not a fan of installing software that isn't trusted by the community. Glad to hear it worked out for you. I think the second machine (one with nothing else of value) may be a good way to go.

Thanks!

or use a sandbox program.

What Electron Cash server are you using? I'm trying to follow instructions here and not making much progress. Seems to disconnect from electrum_abc.criptolayer.net:50012:s over and over again. I'm googling around, not finding much help yet.

Ah, I got it working. Had to delete ~/.electrum/blockchain_headers as it was set to the wrong chain. IRC to the rescue! :)

I used the standard one... I guess. already uninstalled electron though
