Like this article suggests, the Bitcoin bubble is only a distraction. This is bigger than just an alt currency.
Crypto is hard to understand for sure, but it doesn't take more than understanding
the ideology and principles behind it to see how block-chain will ultimately solve the problems of monopolies in finance, data, and many other aspects of daily life.

If all you have read and thought about Bitcoin and block-chain in general is about a bubble then don’t blame yourself. There are so many established so called financial specialists, journalists etc. who just have not bothered to do their home work.
Luckily there are insightful, informative and well thought articles like this. Block-chain is a major step to the original idea of internet. Decentralized, non-owed, non-controlled by any. Not by Facebook, by Twitter, by Amazon etc.

Block-chain came to my attention only about two years ago. Unfortunately, I was not impressed enough to buy a little crypto-currency back then. I was just confused by all the hype. But enough serious people are taking it seriously, I kept reading about it. I have been trying to figure out what its all about .
