A list of awesome things that China has banned.
Hello everyone,
Fred Wilson, who's made himself quite known in the investments world (specifically early internet) inspired this post. He once said, "...anything that China bans, invest in it." With the recent Chinese events pertaining to ICOs, I decided to find out whether Mr. Wilson's word was worth salt.
It is...
Books.
That's right, various books. Throughout the years, innumerable titles have been banned by the Chinese government. Some of these titles are really, quite surprising! For instance, Dr. Suess's "Green Eggs And Ham, and Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" are among these forbidden books.

A massive portion of the active internet has been deemed inappropriate for Chinese citizens. Sites that haven't been IP blocked are not necessarily okay to visit, as there is a banned criteria as well! VPNs have also been banned, to help enforce the law. Google, Youtube, and even facebook are absolutely forbidden.

Movies, specifically American cinema is under extreme scrutiny! Any film depiction that challenges "old school" beliefs and traditions are strictly forbidden!

The never-ending list of bans in China shocked me at first, but it now soothes my concerns. The fact of the matter is that everything China has banned is HUGE. This crypto thing has a future, of that I am absolutely certain.
Keep pushing,
