Living on my own Island yields me nothing

in #bitcoin4 years ago

I'm on an island all by my lonesome. On this Island I have tons of gold and silver! The only problem is that I have nobody to pay for goods or services since I'm all alone! So in actuality do I own anything?

Last week I decided to 'buy the dip' in precious metals

I wrote that 1800 is a definite psychological level even though there is no true price discovery out there. I just wish I didn't sell my gold miners earlier. Commodity stocks are greatly overlooked right now; and although I made a profit I cannot buy back in. Perhaps some deflationary news will get me into the sweet spot; but we all know the markets will be juiced once again.

So owning anything is really based upon what goods and services my asset could eventually help me out with. I bought some ETH and it looks as though it's in a small plateauing period. This doesn't mean it's going down; but I might have to bite my lip a little and feel for a month or two I overpaid. I'm HODLing to a degree because we all know crypto is volatile. Stimulus is coming; no matter how much we want fiscal 'control'. We are way past the point to believe the system can be fixed. The system only runs on juicing it; deflation will not and cannot happen.
