He claimed that he would dismiss any employee who ventured to trade in bitcoins. "It's against our rules and it's stupid. Now these two things are dangerous. "He says that "we can not have a business where some people create a currency from scratch and think that those who buy it are smart.Strange argument when we know that this description is valid for the official currency of the United States dollar. What is the Federal Reserve, if not an institution charged with creating dollars with a magic wand, that is to say, "out of nothing"?Since the abandonment of the gold standard, official currencies are no longer anchored to a rare commodity such as precious metals. Two weights, two measures ? How can this position be explained? Note that Mr. Dimon is not at his first release, as illustrated by this small graph which, for now, leads us to be skeptical about the predictive capabilities of the boss of JP Morgan with regard to cryptomonas.First hypothesis: the JP Morgan boss does not understand what makes the value of an asset (a worrying hypothesis for a banker of his caliber). It is true that the bitcoin is created "from scratch". But this aspect of the cryptomony does not prejudge its value.
