2017-18 What a wild ride!

Here we are, midnight of 2018. Hah!

Looking back at 2017, this has been my best year ever. I also turned 20 this year, btw :P
In this year, I discovered $crypto.
I was shilled into a Ponzi mlm scheme through bitcoin. Thanks to that guy, really! That day onwards I started researching what this bitcoin thing was.
Waiting for the dip, I waited like forever, then finally decided to just go into it. I had just my savings and some gambling money left lol.

I didn't wanted to change my irl priorities to invest in such a wild asset. I bought the local top
on bitcoin back then (1000$).

I discovered altcoins. Poloniex kek. I bought etc and eth and traded them for 2% moves. No result achieved, I got frustrated. I wanted fast rides. Soon I saw whole my btc was on poloniex. I made one trade that night. XBC was up 1300% overnight. I bought that top. I had 70% drawdown on my whole btc stack that night. This is a cycle. Feel lucky when your first attempt goes to a real shitshow. Embrace it. This is the most painful lesson.
Coz, "The real passion comes from the pain of losing money."

So, here it really began. I started to ask around. Spamming the veterans about what to buy and targets.

I stumbled upon, a very kind veteran once (not revealing name :P). He really taught me the game. He taught me what market making was, and how charts told the truth, not people.
I stayed, I learnt.
I started to realise how important patience and calmness are in one's life. The way to analyze a given situation, through multiple perspectives and possibilities. The importance and investing and actively building a portfolio and watching where you are putting in your money.
I read so many books which I wouldn't rather have. The adaptability, accepting whatever adversities in not only markets, but the whole crypto world.
As of today, I achieved a 7000+% gain in my portfolio from my original investment. Not even a year since I am in the game.
All this gains, by parallely working on a revolution. I see a great year ahead for cryptocurrencies. Crypto is here to stay. Digital payments will prevail, not if but soon.
