I believe that any government that resists cryptocurrency will ultimately be left chasing the market later. I always like to remember that governments are really just people who have a vested interest in the system remaining favorable for the government, kind of like the old saying

the bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.

Like you mentioned, cryptocurrency moves exponentially faster than traditional currency. In a year we can accomplish with crypto what the centralized financial world has taken a century to, and do it far more efficiently and effectively.
