Your Euro is signed by a convicted criminal, your bitcoin is signed by you
I found today something interesting about the chief of the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank president, Christine Lagarde, and decided to go down the rabbit hole.
First I found this article: ECB's Lagarde calls for regulating Bitcoin's "funny business"
It says:
European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde called on Wednesday for global regulation of Bitcoin, saying the digital currency had been used for money laundering activities in some instances and that any loopholes needed to be closed.
But its largely anonymous nature has raised concerns that it could be used for money laundering and other illegal activities.
“(Bitcoin) is a highly speculative asset, which has conducted some funny business and some interesting and totally reprehensible money laundering activity,” Lagarde said in an interview at the Reuters Next conference.
So, as you can see it seems she really cares about ethical use of money and she is worried about Bitcoin being used for money laundering.
Lagarde did not provide specific examples of money laundering cases but said she understood there had been criminal investigations into illegal activity. She did not elaborate.
Well, let's provide some specific examples of the money laundering cases. And yes, she's right, there had been some criminal investigations into illegal activity.
Once in Paris...
International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde has been convicted over her role in a controversial €400m (£355m) payment to a businessman.
French judges found Ms Lagarde guilty of negligence for failing to challenge the state arbitration payout to the friend of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
The 60-year-old, following a week-long trial in Paris, was not given any sentence and will not be punished.

Oops
Seems Ms Legard who is pointing a finger at Bitcoin didn't realize that 3 fingers are pointing at her. So, ladies and gentlemen I have bad news for you, your euro is signed by a convicted criminal.
Christine Lagarde's signature on an euro bill:
On the other side, good news are that your bitcoin is signed by you. She can't touch it, and that's why she is afraid people could escape the fiat tiranny (ECB's calls for regulation of crypto) and switch to Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies outside of control of central banks and any authorities, controlled by people, by anyone who wants to join the open source p2p network and carry out the PoW, PoS, DPoS... consensus mechanisms.
Well, Ms Legard I am sorry to tell you this, but we are gonna get tf out of there with or without you.
The power of those criminals who want to regulate honest people can be removed from them only with decentralized cryptocurrencies. Those who control the money supply controlled everything last century. If you follow the money you will find out that the answer for all the shit happened always leads to those groups of people who control the money supply.
During human history technology changed so many aspects of life and made it easier for us. Through the history one thing was always true and that's that the technology always wins and those who fight against it always lose. Take the example of the first car, the crazy guys who were driving "the dangerous smelly machines" (Get A Horse! America’s Skepticism Toward the First Automobiles), electricity, Tesla, "the crazy man who was planning to burn our houses with alternating current" (Edison was electrocuting animals with AC to show people that Tesla will kill them), the internet, a heaven for thieves, terrorists and pornographers (Prediction for internet made in 1995 by an astrophysicist Clifford Stoll), and many others.
Do you still think that Bitcoin is just a bubble and a ponzi scheme, and that it's gonna collapse? Not sure? Then read the Bitcoin whitepaper where the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, briefly explained the basics of Bitcoin and how it works in 9 pages. Do your research about fundamentals and make a conclusion.
