Some people only buy BTC. While this might give the best profit right now, I always spread my risk over about 30 cryptos. You never know what's going to happen to one coin, even if it's BTC.
Excellent quick analysis
*Bitcoin cash: faster bitcoin clone that in theory can be used at a corner store for quick payment. Bitcoin is not great for this.. Slow and fees.
*Ethereum classic: years ago, someone stole a bunch of old ether tokens by finding a backdoor in. Ethereum rewound to right before the block that resulted in the heist and negated the heist. and it never happened. Ethereum classic hard forked and kept the old chain, so the heist did happen and the thief still has lots of stolen tokens. Also, ether classic now has implemented a supply cap, meaning its tokens won't dilute over time like ethereum which has endless supply.
