Is Segwit2x Really Cancelled? | 10 Hours Remaining
We all took a relief, when Mike Belshe published the post that segwit2x was cancelled. Although it's clearly mentioned in post that it's only suspended.
Even after this announcement a company named Bitpico announced that they will go ahead with the fork, and mine segwit2x blocks despite Mike Belshe post, reference news: Bitpico Claims Segwit2X is Still Alive Despite All Evidence to the Contrary
According to this, Segwit2x is still alive. Bitpico has claimed to move ahead with sewgit2x by releasing the statement:

This would be very interesting to see, if B2X comes into the picture, which chain gets successful
Specially when Segwit2x Price has started rising again

I wanted ro know why Bitcoin is rising again. Just had to come to the hot section, chose Bitcoin and nothing simpler. Steemit doesn't stop providing the best information on this side of the internet. Thank you for your contribution!

It was obvious when Bitcoin price fell after initial news about suspending SegWit2x that some supporters would go rogue and take over the forking. I'm pretty sure there is going to be more rogue forks as long as network fees on "official" Bitcoin blockchain stay high.
@mtl1979 totally agree with you mate, in order for BTC to hold the position, it requires to improve the network specifically in terms of transaction fee and time...
interesting.. well, we'll see what will come out of this soon

This is an extremely important event in the history of Bitcoin because this decision proves, if we still doubted it, that Bitcoin is really a decentralized system and that minors, even when they are , can not impose a modification of the protocol on the community.
