If There's a Will, There's a Way...(My First Mining Experience part 3)

My Steemian friends, never give up on your goal, If you have the Will Power to do it, there will be a Way to get it done. Even I first started building my mining rig, I knew nothing about computers in the since of starting from scratch and what connects to what... I just knew there where opportunity in mining and I wanted to be a part of it. I may have been too late, may not, who knows. Yes it was way more profitable in the early days, but I didn't know about it then, but when I found out, my goal was to build a computer and become a part of the crypto community.
So that brings me too this... I still don't know much about computers but I'm learning more everyday, parts are sparse and I have to make due with what I can find, so my latest project has turned into this...don't laugh:

Basically I was unable to add a 5th GPU to my main rig, I tried all the tricks, researched it, but failed, I didn't let that stop me, when I saw an opportunity to buy another GPU at a great price, I bought it, even though I couldn't use it. So, while I had a spare GPU in the closet, I had to find a Way to use it before it becomes obsolete (you can read about that in an earlier post), because these cards will as difficulty increases. Therefore, I thought of buying an old computer tower from someone and rigging it up...I didn't know if I could do it, if my card would fit (it didn't), if it was even possible but I had a goal and I had to try. I took it apart, the PSU was not fully modular so I had the PSU from my main rig powering the extra card and the other PSU powering the rest of the "new" computer. The extra GPU is sitting on the motherboard of the "new" computer while that is being powered by it's on PSU which is not strong at all. The cars didn't fit in the tower so I had to take out the motherboard, sit it on to the the case, but not too fat because the PSU cord was not long. I had to position the parts in sign irregular way just to make all the cords reach...All in all, the thing works, I wish I could flash the card for more power, but I tried that also, it worked once then I messed it up later so got them running stock now.
I will continue building and try to best to be an inspiration for all the under-dogs in the crypto space like myself... If There's a Will, There's a Way! Keep trying and never give up!
