A Hankerchief to Save the World

I recently took notice of how wasteful in our society. During the course of an eight hour work day, I would use the restroom about five times. At these time, I use a paper towel to dry my hands. I also use paper towels to dry my hands and counter at the kitchen about five times a day.

This is not bad, but if you consider the number of employees at our company division we end up using a lot of paper...merely to dry out hands.

One can only imagine the amount of energy that goes into make paper towels: Wood cutting and processing, paper manufacturing and processing, packaging, delivery to warehouse, sales, delivery to offices/homes, dispensing, pick up and delivery to the landfill. I may have missed a few steps but you get the idea.

Even though I don't have to pay for the paper towels, it is note worthy to how much work/costs is saved by using a handkerchief. This handkerchief can be kept on your person and rinsed/washed for the next use.

Consider this change to your life style to help ease the world of these processes and to increase our focus on a better world.
