Bitcoin price highlights (BTC)
The Bitcoin price (BTC) continues its bearish trend on its 1 hour chart, moving below a falling trend line.
The price could be due to a drop in resistance to falling, which is aligned with Fib levels.

Technical indicators
The 100 SMA is below the 200 SMA in the longer term on the 1 hour chart to indicate that the path of least resistance is downward. This suggests that the bearish trend is more likely to continue than the inverse trend.
The gap between moving averages is also widening to reflect a pickup in sales momentum. The 100 SMA is aligned with 38.2% of the Fibonacci retracement level to increase its resistance as resistance.
A further retracement to the higher Fibs or 200 SMA could still be possible, but the RSI seems ready to head south without touching the overbought levels. This indicates that the bears are anxious to return to a superficial correction.
