Fundamental/human psychology problem with all crypto payment cards?

Going to use TenX as an example only because I have a small position and I am more up to date with them but this goes for all crypto payment services.

Main concern how long will it take before people start using crypto for payments over here in the west? OMG is popular in the east and is actively being used, still waiting for that price bump! I know personally any crypto I accumulate the last thing I am going to do is spend it on something I can buy with dying fiat. If all crypto is going up in price who would spend it?? Just playing devils advocate, Happy riches everyone!
