RE: John McAfee vs. Enigma twitter scandal

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

That was exactly my first though when I saw McAfee tweeting a coin every day, many of those being quite mediocre projects.
But also notice that faking a twitter conversation is as easy as opening the browser inspector and typing whatever you want others to say.
In any case, always review the projects by your self, invest on long term quality projects and never follow blindly anyone. Peace!

That's exactly what I thought as well. It wasn't until further evidence was provided that I was willing to write an article on the situation.

I agree the that Twitter conversations can be faked very easily, however, if you go to the twitter page he has 2-3 videos trying to prove his case vs McCafe who has very little credibility. The account has both photo and video evidence with the twitter blue checkmark on all of the information provided. This makes it very hard to believe that this was a "fake account" as the fake account is not verified by twitter while the real McCafe is. This whole situation just seems very fishy to me and I just wanted to state the facts for the crypto community in order to aid them in future investment choices regardless of who is right and who is wrong.

Lastly, your final advice is a solid motive that I stand by thank you!
