Buying a Home With Bitcoin Is 'Great Common Sense' According to Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran
Barbara Corcoran is a business woman and television personality known for ABC's Shark Tank.
She said that cryptocurrency could drive banks out of business in a decade. Most people believe buying and selling homes sounds like a fad. But to Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran she believes it's the future.
"It makes great common sense" Barbara said in a recent interview with MONEY. "I'm being very optimistic because, as a long term play , it's perfectly suited for real estate transactions."
Bitcoin has had alot of recent involvement in real estate. Properties have been sold for cryptocurrency from Texas to New York. There is currently 140 units for rent or sale on Zillow
Corcoran says Bitcoin home sales will only become more common in the future.
Why? "it's a peer-to-peer , with no central anything , and that's why it's so powerful," Corcoran says. She than continued "The idea is to eliminate the middle guy."
Do you agree with Barbara corcoran? Will bitcoin put banks out of business in a decade? Are you bullish on Bitcoin as much as Corcoran? Let me know what you think.
I can definitely see Bitcoin and other crypto becoming a big part of real estate. Anyone who has the money outright would be foolish to go through a bank when crypto takes significantly less time to process.
