Why everyone should own Bitcoin.

We have all seen the year Bitcoin and Altcoins have had on the world. We have seen the power of individuals buying into the idea of decentralization, and the optimism that lies in this technology that can revolutionize the world as we know it forever.

Now, why bitcoin?

In the most simplistic answer... Supply and demand.

There will only be 21 million bitcoin to ever be made in existence. In the year 2140, the last bitcoin will be released to the worldwide public. We have seen it increase from 2009 to pennies, to $1800 per coin as of May of 2017. Bitcoin is designed in such a manner it cannot be hacked. A platform such as CoinBase or Poloniex is absolutely susceptible to a hack, which is why storing your Bitcoin appropriately is one of the most important things you can do. But nonetheless, this currency (technology, what have you), has no choice but to increase as time passes. Bitcoin has become a legitimate competitor to the US dollar. You see Altcoins such as Ethereum emerging, being backed by big banking companies such as Chase, Santander, Microsoft, etc. to compete with the likes of bitcoin.

This is one of the most unbelievable times to be alive as an investor, businessman, mogul, or just opportunity-seeker. And bitcoin is providing this power to people like never before.
