Olympic is wrapping up. A few weeks of detante is over.
The Donald is ramping up his rhetoric again. Implied threats of military action.
Little Rocket Man is likely to make the next few weeks interesting. New missile tests? New nuclear tests? A new satellite launch?
US and South Korea are going to respond by restarting the war game exercises.
Is the goal to get as close to a shooting war as possible, without tipping into WW3 by accident?
As the tensions build, more money will pour into crytpos from Korea and China. They know their local currency will be left in tatters if either side starts a nuclear shooting war.
Not easy to get PMs in volume, and if you did how do you keep your financial nest egg safe when stored as PMs. Gold, silver, platinum are not easy to transport in volume. Not easy to hide. Not easy to trade.
Expect BTC and cryptos to head back higher in the next weeks and months, as the tensions ramp back on on the Korean peninsula.

I will throw in the fact that the Fed is getting ansty about raising rates so they have some room to maneuver when things head south. This will make the market jittery adding fuel to the fire. I dont believe the money will move from equities to crypto just that it will add to the volatility.
Add that to Trump tweeting threats of blowing rocket man (as you call him) to hell, and people are going to freak.
Many fiats will take a beating....ironically, the USD might actually do better in that environment.
Little Rocket Man is actually Trump's nickname for him.
USD is still the world's reserve currency, so when the excrement is about to hit the oscillating air moving device, money retreats to USD as a source of safety.
I feel 100% confident that USD will not be the world's reserve currency in 50 years.
What will replace it? And how will we get there? VERY interesting questions. Chinese curse - may you live in interesting times.
We are all cursed in that regard. Next 50 years are going to be VERY interesting.

What do we do with our Bitcoin when WWIII knocks out power to most of the data centers that support/make-up the internet?
There are 1000's of data centers in North America, Europe, all over Asia, and also many in South America, Africa, etc.
If WW3 takes out ALL these data centers, we all have much bigger issues to worry about than how to get at your BTC.
Worry one - you won't even be able to get at the money you thought was safe in your bank(s). And Federal Deposit Insurance won't be that helpful.
Worry two - clean water and food?
Worry three - did I buy enough guns and ammo?

Actually I think...Digital money can make us rich to deal with ourselves. I genuinely trust that. Be that as it may, what I additionally accept is that it will influence us to sufficiently fit to serve the penniless also.
