Less Bitcoin in my cryptocurrency portfolio, more Ethereum
In the long run I fear the leaderless Bitcoin will have trouble keeping up with other currencies that have leaders who install upgrades and add features. The pioneer project of bitcoin may become a proof of concept that gets overtaken by faster more efficient systems with better technology. For example, Vitalik Buterin leads Ethereum with upgrades and improvements including a move to proof of stake instead of proof of work, while bitcoins technology stays more stagnant.
I am not completely jumping ship though. I am simply changing my portfolio to be 40-50% bitcoin rather than 75%.
I think stability is good for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a store of value where one can store upto millions of dollars. You wouldn;t be happy if they upgrade their sofware weekly :)
