First Digital Cryptocurrency You Can Mine on Your Phone
Crypto-currency in its current form is earned via two (2) popular protocols proof-of-work (aka PoW) and proof-of-stake (aka PoS). There are less popular protocols that earn you crypto and one of them is called Pi. Just install the app on your phone, and you start earning. It doesn't consume battery at all.
Pi is a new digital currency being developed by a group of Stanford PhDs. For a limited time, you can join the beta to earn Pi and help grow the network.

Just the same, I jumped the gun and joined. Then I installed the application and read the whitepaper. Things have cleared up since.
