Tracks released on Choon

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

I'm going to market my modular synth music here on Steemit.

Here's "Every time I Bitcoin"

And a Techno track which features Steemit samples and a steam train in it and is in the style of bouncy Techno:

& my much older non-techno Steemit track:

If you don't know about Choon.co, definitely check it out it's a recently launched music streaming and royalties blockchain platform and they already have over 1000 artists.

I've been getting into modular synthesis for the last year and been inspired lately to make music again. If you want to hear my older tracks they are on SoundCloud.

This is the voice synth I used to make the voice samples, it's called Emy and it's available from http://www.polaxis.be/

The blips and blops FX were made from a Krell patch I followed from Todd Barton's tutorial using the Endorphin shuttle synthesizer.

The white modules are designed by Perth-based Non-Linear Circuits; NLC

There's also a Bastl Instruments Tea Kick that was great for making the bass.

The black module is Ornament & Crime which is open source and I don't remember how I used it if at all this time. More info here:

Pocket Operator 32 to make drums for both tracks

Finally the sequencer is Trigger Riot which is capable of some pretty complex patterns but I'm still learning how to use it.

The first track I used Reason, the Steemit track I used Live.

Thanks to Benboncan, theshaggyfreak, eliasheuninck & timgormly from freesound.org for train samples licensed under CC used in this song.
