Jakarta - A simple-looking man named Peter Saddington, suddenly became the center of attention since his arrival at a famous car dealership.

Accustomed to the celebrities, car dealers in Atlanta, Georgia, United States is quite surprised to be visited by ordinary people like Saddington.

"I've been in this business for a long time, nothing surprising, but this (the Bitcoin phenomenon) made me think: 'If I belong to one of the Bitcoin owners,' said General Manager of MotorCars of Georgia, the car dealer Brandon Saszi.

Saddington who studied computer science at Florida State accidentally met with Bitcoin in 2011. A technology article published Ars Technica managed to steal his attention.

In the article, a report says Bitcoin lost 90% of its value when it decreased from its highest value to $ 30 even under USD 3.

"As a tech enthusiast, and people willing to take risks with new technology, this Bitcoin report really attracted my attention," Saddington said.

"For a month I searched more, through research, code lines and research papers," he said.

When Saddington first invested in Bitcoin in November 2011, one Bitcoin was worth USD 2.52 (about Rp 13 thousand). He had no idea that Bitcoin's value would have soared.

"I am an old holder of Bitcoin I keep it since 2011, as much as I can afford," he said.

Saddington says he regularly buys Bitcoin every Friday for five years. His interest in Bitcoin was shared through the experiences he recorded on YouTube.

The Asian-blooded man, apparently the automotive startup CTO named VinWiki, runs a forum about cryptocurrency called The Bitcoin Pub, as well as two YouTube channels on cryptocurrency.

His YouTube video that tells about buying Lamborghini using Bitcoin, currently watched over 1.5 million times and became one of the sensational content on the internet.
