BITCOIN had a day to forget yesterday, falling from $6,666 at the start of the day to $6,302. Experts have reacted to comments from Joseph Stiglitz claiming that regulation would send bitcoin down to $100, labelling the Nobel Prize winner's claims - 'bizarre'.

Bitcoin is priced at $6,337 this morning with ethereum falling to $434 and ripple down at $0.44.
Ealier this week, Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz claimed that digital currencies will be “regulated into oblivion” and bitcoin could be “worth just $100 in 10 years” following a future clampdown on money laundering.

Joseph Stiglitz, the former chief economist of the World Bank warned the crypto community central banks have not yet clamped-down on bitcoin and other leading coins because the market is still relatively small.
