Hot crypto coins for 2018

HI All,
I recently got the explosive taste from the crypto markets and now I'm working on building a crypto portfolio.
I've been looking at undervalued crypto's which provide potential for exponential growth(not as explosive as Bitcoin but similar) and below are some that I think are worthy of investing in 2018.

Litecoin (LTC) $277.42
Ethereum (ETH) $742.70
Ripple (XRP) current price of $0.99
IOTA (IOT) current price $3.57
NEM (XEM) current price $0.92
Gulden (NLG) current price $0.17
Digibyte (DGB) current price $0.072
Steem (STEEM) current price $3.21 (obviously :) )

What are some of the coins you are betting on? Why do you think they have a great future?

The problem I have with some of the crypto currencies is that it is not clear how do you measure their success.
With traditional stocks one can measure the success based on the company earnings and quarterly financial reports.

How do you measure the success of a crypto currency?

    I’ve been eyeballing Cardano and Stellar. These are indeed very undervalued yet I haven’t had a chance to do my due dilligence in them. Do you have any insight you can share?

      As of today, Ripple has almost doubled in price ( $1.91)
