You forget about the biggest opportunity for waves: being one(even THE ONE) platform of reference for ICOs. We have seen many problems with ethereum recently ( lack of scalability, crazy transaction fees, unfairness on the ICO distribution, etc.). Waves mainly focus on tokens creation and exchange but do it perfectly! And more and more ICO are using Waves. The biggest one Mobile Go raised more than 50 millions $ recently. Just the beginning !!
Oh yeah you are right! There's just too many good things going on for waves I forgot to put it all there.
I'm bullish on Waves as well because of the ICO fever....but don't forget you can milk a lot of return from Waves by leasing it. See my post on my leasing returns if you get a chance.
