Jaxx / Shapeshift Fees Cost Me 20%+
Warning to other that are trying out Shapeshift for first time through Jaxx. Read other with complaints, but thought how bad can it be. Well, that was a $10+ mistake from $50 worth of transaction.
Jaxx's UI is good, but never mentions the flat rate they charge when using Shapeshift. For a 1 LTC to BTC transaction they charged ~.003 BTC. So for $25 of LTC I only got $17 of BTC... For ETH it's .01 ETH fee. $10 of LTC got me $7-8 of ETH. Golem (GNT) had negligible fees.
Suggested to both companies to make this more transparent, especially in Jaxx app. Reviewing the app again I do see the "spendable" section... but that's not clear. It really should just show a separate fee row.

It is a good service though as coins transferred quickly, and customer service was really quick with same day response (really impressive compared to many online services which takes days/weeks). Don't use bitcoin, its complete trash because of the network fee, Bitcoin costs almost 10 usd now just to exchange or move it.
I'm sure it's still worth it to people that are doing larger exchanges. at $10 fee, the break even point would be around $4000 worth of coin transferred to be equivalent of .25% fee from exchanges.
