Should I Buy Cardano ?

Cardano (ADA) project began in 2015, it is V3 blockchains it is build by a company based in Hong Kong by the name of IOHK.

About IOHK:

Founded in 2015 by Charles Hoskinson and Jeremy Wood, IOHK is a technology company committed to using peer-to-peer innovations to provide financial services to the three billion people who don’t have them.

IOHK is an engineering company that builds cryptocurrencies and blockchains for academic institutions, government entities and corporations. It is also a research firm with dense academic connections in Europe, America and Asia with many employees holding PhDs in Computer Science, Math or Physics. IOHK focuses on practical, peer reviewed research to create live protocols, and the technological underpinnings to next-generation cryptocurrencies.

About Cardano (ADA) :

The main goal of IOHK is to build a global blockchain that will give an easy access to payment gateway in reagins like Africa and Asia. IOHK want to build a protocol that will be the standard of blockchains something like TCP/IP.
It is supposed to last for decades allowing the communication with other blockchains and also legacy payment system, it will also provide smart contract and give the necessary tools for developer to build Dapps.

Cardano wants to solve the problems of ETH by using it PoS algorithm called OUROBOROS it known as the heart of ADA the blockchain and it is the only algorithm that's proven to be as secure as Bitcoin PoW.
OUROBOROS protocol offer the same security that BTC offers without the high energy cost that is linked to the mining activity.

The other problem that Cardano must solve is scaling for that they designed the blockchain in layers and they aim to gain resources as nodes join the network.and they are also thinking in
Sharding and the use of trust devices to take some transactions off the network.
