Trezor BCash Support: Transfer BCH to Bitfinex
I was able to initiate transfer my BCH from Trezor to my Bitfinex wallet.
I updated my firmware first, then went to beta-wallet.trezor.io. The wallet menu is shown as below:
After selecting Bcash (BCH), I'm shown the screen below:
I then proceed to the coin-splitting tool and went through confirming the following screen:
I couldn't show the actual process of sending to Bitfinex (or some external Exchange wallet) because I already made the transfer before writing this. Here's the screen I'm left with:
What I did was prior to this was that I generated a BCH Wallet Address in Bitfinex and placed this as the destination address.
I initiated the transfer a few hours ago and here's what I have in Bitfinex:
I had several accounts in my Trezor wallet. Almost all transfers have five confirmations. Bitfinex requires 20 confirmations. This might take a while longer, and I hope that BCH still has some substantial value left by then.
Thanks for this. I have been looking at doing similar, although I am torn between wanting to cash out before BCH drops to zero and thinking it may be a useful hedge if there are any issues with segwit implementation. If segwit goeswell, I don't expect BCH to be worth very much by the end of the year BUT if there are any issues, people may pull out of BTC and pump BCH!
The games we play!
Glad you liked it. My guess is that it won't go to zero, but there's that probability that it will get stuck in a very low range for a long time (or until November of this year when Segwit2x is supposed to be implemented, though it could go either way).
