[HIRING] Experienced C Developer wanted

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Hello from the merkle tree! :)

Now hiring computer programmers

I'd like to hire another C Programmer.

To qualify:

  1. Be an expert C programmer; your github proof (with public email displayed) is required
  2. Experienced in C++
  3. Experience with ECDSA signing/verification, PKI
  4. All cryptocurrencies (especially Steem and Bitcoin!) must still be legal in the country in which you live.
  5. You must have experience with Bitcoin and accept payments in BTC as well.

NOT required, but this is a plus:

  1. Experience with Wireshark and deep dives
  2. Familiarity with IPFS

This is a long term project and will be mostly your code (I know it's no fun sifting through another guy's code). After you build this api, you will be hired to maintain it. This job will employ you immediately, and I am very flexible on hours that you can commit as well as the timezone in which you live. My Dev Teams are located all over the Earth, and upon being hired I am going to introduce you to many of them.

We are always at your side on Telegram/Keybase (+ there are 6 other C Devs here) should you have any questions or want to pitch your ideas, and we always have quick (usually less than 30 minute) meetings each week to sum up everyone’s progress and chit-chat with the other Devs, etc.

If you are looking to work in the blockchain industry, this is the mother of all projects. We love what we do here and are working fast to bring chain-agnostic infrastructure to the world of digital currencies, so hopefully that matters to you as well.

Not qualified? Please spread the word!

  • RE-STEEMING THIS POST WILL GET YOU A 100% UPVOTE

Woohoo thank you oldtimer! :)

I follow your work. Invested some money in bts lately and did some research to find who is who. It looks like you have some really good stuff to bring on. Exciting time. Hope I'm on right place at the right time.

You are indeed :)

WOW!!
Amazing awesome super-duper support so far, I have been getting a lot of applicants pinging me on Telegram, so everyone please keep spreading the word.

I have done a number of interviews already but still have not found "the one" who fits the bill for this position yet.

On a side note, I would like to re-emphasize that I do not hire Dev Firms (companies who employ lots of developers). I do not pay for middlemen since it creates communication problems, higher hourly rates (paying for the middlemen, fancy buildings, etc), and is inhibitive to bonding with my other Devs over time. So, if you are a hiring/project manager for "teams" of devs, do not bother contacting me. I work only with individual freelancers around the world. Thanx for your understanding in this matter.

Also, for applicants, I must see proof of your work on your github page, and your github page must show a public email address so that it can be proved that is your github commits.

The interview is chat only, no worries. I rarely ever use phones. I like chat because it allows me to multitask, document and not waste time. Plus, 90% of the Devs that work with me have rough english skills and prefer to keep their real identities private anyway.

So in other words, if you love to code, just ping me. You will have a lot of friends here that will get you into hardcore blockchain tech, and once you dabble in blockchain you'll probably never look back :)

So keep those telegram pings coming and thanx again to everyone who has been spreading the word! :)

We build chain-agnostic crypto infrastructure.

This is great for everyone that is interested in or uses any Graphene based product. Spread the wealth and keep it in our ecosystem. Fabulous!

re-steemed @kencode. best of luck.

Thank you Terry Brock! :)
That deserves a second upvote, may I?

Yes. Those upvotes ring the bells of joy in my heart! :-)

Sounds like a worthy adventure, Too bad any coding I did was way back in the days of Q-Basic.... I did resteem andPost to Twitter and FB though.

greetings

I have experience in both C and C++ but no experience with ECDSA signing/verification, PKI and don't really have that much time to take up another project . Anyway good luck with the Project i Up-voted , Re-esteemed and also Followed :)

Upvoted and resteemed, GL finding i imagine c developers are pretty thin on the ground these days. I did a unit of c at university 17 years ago so i am afraid i wouldnt be much help.
