CrypTalk: How much do you know?

Do you know what cryptocurrencies even are? Have you bitten off more than you can chew?

The 'Bitcoin' and 'Cryptocurrency' sections here are full with questions, uncertainty, and people asking where to put their money in the hope of making a lil profit- so I refer back to the opening line.
In this new blog, using Poloniex as a guide, I am going to break down every major crypto currency on the exchange! By doing so I aim to give everyone here a better understanding what what they are dealing with before they jump the gun. Throughout this journey I will shine some sought-after light on cryptocurrencies and their most important purposes:

Distribution. Cryptography. Total decentralisation.
