Does STEEM need to drop all the way back down to this level before we can go higher?

Some seem to think so.

I personally don't think we need to drop this low.

I think this drop to $.91k was enough for us to bust through $100k.

We may need one more dip back to like $94k then we bust through $100k.

The thirst test is usually the break out test.
