That was a very interesting interview, thanks for posting. One fact that stuck in my mind was that we spend on average about a month of our time working just for the use of the banking and finance industry. (Hopefully I heard that right, please correct me if I misunderstood.) If that is the case it seems like there is a big opportunity for things like Steemit to take off because it could do many of the things we traditionally use banks for at a lower cost. I'm not sure most people are aware of the hidden costs associated with banking transactions - I'm trying to figure it all out but not that certain myself.
