$3.6 Million Mega Bounty
Bitfinex is offering a colossus $3.6m or roughly 5% of the funds stolen from the exchange last week in return for information that leads to the recovery of the said stolen funds.
Zane Tackett, Bitfinex's community director took to reddit to offer the bounty stating:
"5% of recovery and for information leading to recovery (but no bounty if no recovery); if multiple persons lead to recovery, share pro rata."
Over $60m worth of bitcoin was stolen from the Hong-Kong based exchange last week after a vulnerability in its multi-sig architecture was exploited. The fallout has been immense with companies like BSave issuing guidelines to it's customers due to the company business model relying on exchanges like Bitfinex to make a profit.
