Airdrop Scam

in #bitcoin4 years ago

#Airdrops used to be cool, it was a great machinery for creating awareness of a new token/coin, it also aid mass adoption of such token and coin by new and old #crypto enthusiasts. All you needed then was your twitter, telegram and your wallet address and at most and email for notification then on the day of distribution you will get what you supported. But now new languages like selfdrop, raindrop etc has been introduced into the system by organised scammers all in the name of pay $50 and get $1500 selfdrop which is not true though some newbies and desperate ones fall for. My concern here is that there exist already #1 billion plus coins and tokens in the #crypto industry and this scammers are making newbies see crypto airdrops as majorly scam what is the fate of legit but new companies? I need someone to help me with that answer. Lastly are all airdrops scam? the answer is no but my little piece of advice is trade with caution and avoid desperation.
