What is Blockchain ?

The crypto money that came as an alternative to the existing currencies quickly entered our lives. The technology used by the crypto money we have heard in many different ways is as important as the money.
With the developing technology, people can communicate independently of distances. We can send pictures, videos, sounds and texts in different formats to each other. Even though we can not send objects at the same speed, we can say that communication reaches almost the speed of light.If information can be sent so quickly, why not send money ?
This system is based on this question. The technology is called blockchain. Everyone can send money directly to everyone and all of these records can be stored by everyone. We are talking about a technology in which everything is done transparently without being attached to third institutions. But this technology has one more aspect .
All of these operations require huge CPU power and this power comes from synchronicity and synchronization. It is the question of how these technological units (miners at least) communicate with each other.

More secure than standard money transfer systems:
First, consider two people or companies that do not trust each other, but there is a material relationship between them. The amount of money maybe big or small. As a result, making money transfer in the digital environment raises the issue of trust.
However, Block Chains are not able to break through existing methods due to their high security features and encryption methods. For this, the spread of quantum computer systems and security measures should never be improved.

Block Chains are not central:
This is the biggest factor that makes them safe anyway. You may wonder if the names behind it are clear. But forget about systems managed from a single point, such as the Central Bank. This system is scattered all over the world. So while the attacks only affect one region, it is not difficult to recover because trade continues in the other regions of the world.

Things change a bit when we think that everyone is going to use these currencies in the future with all of this. First of all, controlled mechanisms, banks, financial institutions are disappearing.
But the other direction of the blockchain is information. With Etheriumum's innovation, now with blockchain technology, information is made transparent, transparent and free. Platforms like Steemit, Dtube, Viuly are examples of these.
So if all the data about people on the chain starts to circulate? It is possible that all our information is accessible and largely irrevocable by everyone. Which makes this technology frightening.
Especially with the development of the artificial intelligence, the big data that can be reached by malicious people is a great danger to the direction of society, deception or management. It is quite scary to think that we can cry to a network where all our information is in free circulation and there may be intelligent systems that can know everything about us and manage us easily.
