QUESTION: How to grow bitcoin from small amount?

I know about faucets and surveys, but once you get around to 0.10-1.00$ is there any way to grow your bitcoin? I see people with big wallets profiting off of trading currencies and sometimes multiplier tricks. Is it possible to profit off of trading or investing with a small amount? Me and probably many others would like to know. Thanks!

      I know on poloniex and other trading sites you can loan bitcoin and earn interest on it.
