Good news about Bitcoin... from the US Gov? Don't Trust it.

After reading several articles and watching all sorts of video commentary of the US Senate hearing about crypto...

Am I the only one who feels it extremely disconcerting that the news was good?

I'm equally baffled why the crypto space seems to embracing this "good" news.

Have we ignored the fact that crypto CAN'T be regulated?

Have we ignored the fact the government can't legitimize it? The people who use it do.

So what the hell are they planning and why is no one else asking this?

Why was the news good?

The only reason I can imagine that crypto got good press was because they're planning something and they need you to assume their legitimization means something. I have no idea what it is... but it's on its way.

The central banks can't control crypto. The government can't control cryptocurrency... they can only punish those who use it. They can also try to control the public's perception of cryptocurrency. And seeing as most people are ignorant of what cryptocurrency is anyway... I'd say heavy regulations are coming down the pipe. Or worse.

Dear lord get back to principles...

We have a right to financial privacy. We have a right to use whatever currency we want. We have a right to do what we please with our money so as long as we aren't harming anyone. #taxationistheft

Am I not the only one not taking crazy pills today?
