RE: Latest news from Btc-e and some thoughts

in #bitcoin7 years ago

no panic at all ! I am here for the long run ! I don't like the coincidences tho

  • Russian guy arrested for btc money laundring / Fact: BTC-e is based in Russian
  • Running the site since 2011 / Fact: BTC-e is since then
    Rumor 66.000btc is being mixed
  • Another POV this russian guy had relations with Mt Gox fiasco so this cancels the above or not ?!

About your Polo opinion

  • Polo has a lot fake volume (due to whale friendly fees), on bittrex 100btc can move a market in no time since there are no special fees
  • Polo support sucks like Cryptsy, does this ring a bell ?
*Polo is pumping coins before delisting , or they have insider leaks ?!
  • They disabled trollbox to improve their support , fair enough I still know some real big players complaining for unaswered support tickets.

First of all, I want to thank you for taking the time replying to my post. I don't like these "coinsidences" too. Eventually, it seems that BTC-e has a dirty past and I agree that Polo's support sucks. Basically, there is no support there. However, in my post I wanted to emphasize in 2 things:

  1. Everytime a site is offline, many people panic. It is not unusual for this kind of sites to be offine for a maintenance, so panic is not the right way to deal with these problems.
  2. We need to find a way to trade in a safer environment and the last paragraph of my post emphasizes this need. In this spirit, I believe that OpenLedger is in the right track, but I also believe that many improvements have to take place in order to attract a bigger amount of traders.

When harder regulations will come we will have a safer environment to trade , KYC is ok but need to KYP as well ! heh.
I think P2P trading needs a lot of work
